A Breaking Dawn story, this is a tale about Edward & Bella’s voyage of sexual discovery and their introduction to parenthood.
The timeline runs from September, when they first go to their cottage in the woods, after Bella wakes up as a vampire, until the arrival of the Volturi at the end of December.
Bella & Edward have to balance their sexual desires with the challenges of new parenthood and Bella's adjustment to being a newborn vampire.
The story is told almost entirely from Bella's point of view.

"Well then, your husband must be a very lucky man. Are you newlyweds?" he asked.
"No, we've been married for five years now. He was my high school sweetheart. We've been having a rough time lately and decided to take this trip in hopes of rekindling our marriage."
Holy verbal diarrhea! Shut the fuck up Bella. He doesn't want to hear your sob story. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.
When I looked up at Edward he was frowning a little. I looked over to find that Alice once again had left my side.
Edward's gaze was focused on me, he leaned close to me and I inhaled his scent. It was heavenly, I fought the urge to bury my nose in the crook of his neck and sniff.
"That's too bad. If you were mine, we wouldn't be going to Isle Esme to rekindle our marriage Bella. We'd be going to show these amateurs how it's done."
Holy fuckin hell, was it hot in here or what? I felt my body light on fire at his words. What the fuck? I should have been appalled. I was a married woman! And yet the epitome of sex was flirting with me. I wanted to hump his leg. This wasn't me, I was in love with….my husband, Mike, Mike my husband.
After giving me what he hoped looked like a glare of warning, he stuck his hand out for me to shake it. I wanted to rip it off. I cleared my throat and looked at his hand condescendingly before saying, "Sorry, I don't shake people's hands…you know, germs and all."
Mike frowned at me, withdrawing his hand to his side. While Bella's face took on the most comical look of disbelief and surprise. She knew what I said wasn't true, I'd kissed her hand which was a whole lot more than shaking it. She glared at me scowling. As soon as her husband wasn't looking. I grinned winking at her.
Her breathing hitched her chest heaved. I wanted her and I was determined to have her by the end of the day. Bella would be mine.
